PC001 Political Contessa My Experience-How I got Here and Changing the World Even a Little

We all have life experiences, and these experiences help to shape who we become. In my first episode, I want to tell you about mine.

Today, I share my story. I talk about the various interests I pursued throughout my childhood and young adulthood in an attempt to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I note the impact of the tragedies that I experienced on my decisions, and I talk about how I finally settled on politics. I talk about the good friends and mentors that I met along the way, and I conclude that we all need to embrace our experiences as a part of who we are if we’re going to change the world even a little.

“You need to own who you are, own your beliefs, and own the fact that you have life experiences.”-Jennifer Nassour
