PC044 - All People Deserve Political Representation with Albert Eisenberg

Albert Eisenberg is the Principle and Communications Strategist at BlueStateRed and the co-founder of Broad + Liberty, a Philadelphia-based non-profit media outlet dedicated to promoting freedom of thought and giving voice to issues and ideas that have been otherwise ‘shut out.’ Broad + Liberty’s mission is to promote innovative ideas, diverse and disruptive viewpoints, and positive policies by advocating for political, cultural, and economic freedoms throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. In 2018, Albert served as Deputy Director of Communications for David Stemerman’s Governorship campaign and in 2020, he worked with The Philadelphia Inquirer as an Op-Ed Columnist. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Studio Art from Georgetown University and has been awarded the MavPAC Future 40 Under 40 award.

Albert joins us today to discuss why diversity and inclusion is crucial in politics. We discuss why it’s important for our state legislatures to represent all Americans, across all walks of life, including the LGBT community. We explain how imbalanced representation can impact our daily lives and how we can strike a balance between diversity, inclusion and social conservative values. We discuss why the GOP is struggling to connect with millennials and how we can get more millennials to vote for Republican candidates. We also discuss why we believe no American is entitled to “The American Dream” and why we believe the true meaning of empowering Americans is giving people the opportunity to be their best selves.

“You are not a party of universal values if all of your stakeholders look like 60-percent of the country and not 100-percent of the country.” - Albert Eisenberg
