PC103 - Focusing on the Real Issues
91—that’s the number of indictments former President of the United States Donald Trump currently has against him. Recently, Trump was indicted in Georgia for allegedly leading a “criminal racketeering enterprise” to unlawfully change the results of the 2020 presidential elections. I don’t know about you, but if I get a parking ticket, I get stressed out. I can’t imagine having 91 indictments against me. Yet, not only is Trump defending against the allegations leveled against him—he’s also running for president.
In this episode, I discuss the indictment of Donald Trump in Georgia. I explain how Trump’s issues and bid for the presidency are distracting us all from Republican leaders who genuinely want to make a difference in people’s lives. I also highlight the kind of leader we need in office and underscore the importance of paying attention to the most pressing issues our country faces.
“The biggest issue in the country is the economy: higher inflation, tax increases, and the fact that wages aren’t keeping up—those are in people’s minds.” - Jennifer Nassour
