PC010 Political Contessa Person vs Policy - Taking the Personality Out of the Equation

With the previous administration came an extraordinary level of personal abuse against the president. Now, the current president faces a subdued level of the same thing. What the personal attackers of both presidents miss is that an elected official’s ability to do their job has nothing to do with their personality. Isn’t it time we started focusing on the policy?

Today, I talk about why politicians should be voted for based on their policy, rather than on how much we like them personally. I note that rhetoric doesn’t replace policy, and neither does personality. I discuss how, despite what you thought about Trump as a person, the policy of his administration was largely productive and good for America.

“Shouldn’t we be voting for people based on policy and not person?”
